The Star Ball fundraising gala events take place annually in Canberra, Darwin, Sydney and Melbourne with all proceeds going directly to the Starlight Children’s Foundation and transforming the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families throughout Australia. The first Star Ball event began 16 years ago in Sydney when a function for friends and associates was held by the National Chair, Scott Didier, to raise money for Starlight. Extremely happy with the event and what they raised on the night, it became an annual fundraising gala ball.
Since those initial beginnings the Star Ball inspiration has been replicated by friends and close contacts throughout Australia.
Brilliantly themed ballrooms together with premium entertainment and service promote a great experience and feel good atmosphere for guests.
Each year the events profile gets bigger and better as does the generation of funds, the number of attendees and the excitement and enthusiasm in the lead up to the night.
A premium fundraising event for Starlight, the collaborative efforts of the Star Ball Committee’s, as well as the input from sponsors and guests, come together to assist in helping seriously ill and hospitalised children in their deepest time of need.
